Trial access has been established to the following Oxford databases: Oxford Handbooks Online, Oxford Scholarship Online, University Press Scholarship, Very short introductions, Oxford Research Encyclopedias, Oxford Bibliographies. All databases are available in the databases’ list with a short content description and are searchable in SuperSearch. Trial ends on 31 October, 2021.
Photocopying and printing services stop after 30 November, 2020 at the Library. The purchased print tickets can be used until 30 November.
The reading rooms of the library will be closed from 2 November, 2020 until 9 November, 2020 due to technical reconstruction. During this period, consultation rooms cannot be used. Part of the library collection will be moved; books from transferred collection will not be borrowable. Loan requests for other books can be submitted by filling in the form, librarians will give feedback in all cases.
During this period, the borrowing area on the 1st floor and the two Computer Labs can be used Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Reading Halls reopening together with usual borrowing services for Corvinus community will be restored by 10 November, 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Corvinus Library offers thesis writing and consultation sessions in the autumn semester again. Participants will pick up skills in the following fields: finding relevant sources, using efficient document search techniques. You can deepen your knowledge in the field of references and information will be provided about the use of Urkund text-recognition system at CUB. Writing tips and hints will help you to make a proper and stylish thesis. Trainings and consultations will be held online through Teams, please register with your Corvinus e-mail address.
